Paul is one of our security and investigative specialists. He owns his own agency after successive promotions in the security and investigations industry where he started as a security officer, private investigator, supervisor, operations manager and finally vice-president. Most recently he worked as a Criminal Investigator for the Federal Government where he specialized in training and computer forensics. After over twenty years of public service he retired, having spent time as a customs/immigration officer, criminal investigator and as a medic in the 25th Medical Company. He has various instructor certifications including firearms instructor, RCMP defensive tactics instructor, Emergency First Responder instructor and instructor trainer. Additionally he is an ASP Certified Tactical Weapons Instructor, SCUBA Instructor, and CBRNE instructor. Paul is a Certified Protection Officer (CPO/CPOI) and is Certified in Security Supervision and Management (CSSM) through the International Foundation of Protection Officers.
His formal education includes two undergraduate degrees one in Theology and the other in Criminal Justice and a diploma in Law Enforcement. He also holds several professional designations, including Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Professional Investigator (CPI), Certified International Investigator (CII), and Certified in Cyber Security (CC). Paul is a graduate of the Canadian Police College Computer Forensic Examiner Program and holds the CompTIA A+ computer technician certification. He is also a McAfee Institute Board Certified Forensic Hi-Tech Investigator and a graduate of the Humber College Cyber Crime Specialist Program. In addition, he completed the Alarm Technician Program through Centennial College in cooperation with CANASA and is an Alarm.com Certified Technician. Recently, Paul earned a Paralegal Diploma, became a Licensee of the Law Society, and was appointed as a Notary Public. He is currently pursuing an LLB in the United Kingdom, having recently completed a program in Law and Criminology.
He was a recipient of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2012.
